Shannon Schambeau is John Patterson's wife

Shannon Schambeau is John Patterson’s hot baseball wife. Shannon married the currently unemployed pitcher on November 10, 2007 after meeting him at a Nationals charity gala in 2005.

Shannon won the Miss District of Columbia title in 2005, beating out fellow WAG and 2007 winner Mercedes Lindsay in the process. She placed fourth runner up (why can’t they just keep it simple and say fifth place?) in the Miss America pageant that year.

As you might imagine, being Miss District of Columbia comes with some perks, including throwing out the first pitch at a Nationals game in 2006, the club that John Patterson was playing for at the time.

It should also be noted that Shannon Schambeau is a pretty smart girl. The same year she won the Miss District of Columbia pageant, she earned her Masters in Business Administration from St. Leo University.
