Millie Corretjer is Oscar De La Hoya's wife

Millie Corretjer is Oscar De La Hoya’s hot boxing wife. She married the former junior lightweight champion in October of 2001.

Millie is a celebrity in her own right in her native Puerto Rico. Her entertainment career started when she was fifteen and hosted the television series La Ola Nueva. She later released a trio of successful albums that made her a household name in Puerto Rico.

I didn’t know (or selectively forgot) that Oscar De La Hoya made an album, but as luck would have it, he was working for the same label that Millie was working for at the time.

In 2008, a stripper by the name of Milana Dravnel released some photographs of Oscar De La Hoya dressed in fish net stockings and stilettos. Oscar claimed the pictures were fake and called Milana a liar. Milana sued for defamation of character, and sued for $100 million.

Millie stood by her man through the whole thing, and for good reason: In June of 2008, the photographs were proved to be fakes and the suit was dropped.
