Flavia Mazoni is Dean Lister's ex-wife

Flavia Mazoni is Dean Lister’s ex-wife.

Flavia is from Brazil, and Dean met her there while fighting in the Mundials, also known as the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.  They quickly hit it off, and after winning the ADCC, Dean bought Flavia a plane ticket to come stay with him at his home in San Diego.

Dean and Flavia were later married, but they divorced three years later.
