Shannon Schambeau is John Patterson’s wife. Shannon married John on November 10, 2007 after meeting him at a Nationals charity gala in 2005.
Shannon won the Miss District of Columbia title in 2005, beating out fellow WAG and 2007 winner Mercedes Lindsay in the process. She placed fourth runner up (why can’t they just keep it simple and say fifth place?) in the Miss America pageant that year.
As you might imagine, being Miss District of Columbia comes with some perks, including throwing out the first pitch at a Nationals game in 2006, the club that John Patterson was playing for at the time.
It should also be noted that Shannon Schambeau is a pretty smart girl. The same year she won the Miss District of Columbia pageant, she earned her Masters in Business Administration from St. Leo University.
Jennifer Lopez is Felipe Lopez’ wife. Jennifer married Felipe in 2000, when Felipe was cruising through her hometown of Hagerstown, Maryland on his long road through the minors.
She may not be J. Lo, but who cares?
Felipe very well may be a great guy, but if you ever wanted evidence that you shouldn’t draft high school kids, look no further.
After being touted as the greatest defensive shortstop in the country, Felipe was drafted by the Blue Jays in 1998. In 2006, after being traded to the Nationals, he committed 26 errors, enough to tie him for the major league lead. Hmm…
Anyway, all is forgiven, as Felipe got his wife into FHM for all of us to see — even if it was just one photo on page 138.
Laura Cover is Aaron Boone’s wife.
Laura was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in October of 1998. In that issue, she stated that her ambition was to “be successful at my chosen path, marry the man of my dreams and have lots of babies.”
Assuming that her chosen path was to show the world her boobs, she has succeeded at her first ambition. On her IMDB page, her “Plot Keywords” are Female Nudity, Beautiful Woman, Breasts and Nudity. Sounds like mission accomplished to me.
Maybe she’s had success with her second ambition — that is, if Aaron f@&%ing Boone could be the man of anyone’s dreams. Anyway, they’re married now, so she must have a thing for male pattern baldness and guys who hit one meaningful home run in the middle of 11 craptastic seasons.
That brings us to her third ambition — having lots of babies. She has one so far, and that’s not a bad start.
