Amira Baker Jackson is D’Qwell Jackson’s wife. Amira was D’Qwell’s high school sweetheart, and they were married in May of 2008.
Amira was the 1st runner up in the 2004 Miss District of Columbia pageant. She joins Shannon Schambeau and Mercedes Lindsay as WAGs who have achieved high rankings in the event.
Unlike most beauty queens, Amira has the brains to backup her looks. She’s a dentist, and was the youngest student ever to graduate from Howard University Dental.

They went through a messy breakup in 2000, when Moakler hit De La Hoya with a $62.5 million palimony suit. She claimed that Oscar was an abusive drunk, and they ultimately settled out of court.
Shanna won Miss Rhode Island Teen USA in 1992, and came in first runner-up in the 1995 Miss USA pageant. She was later given the Miss USA crown when the winner, Chelsi Smith, won Miss Universe a few months later.
Shanna has appeared in a number of television shows and movies. She played Officer Monica Harper on Pacific Blue from 1998-2000, and has recently made guest appearances on Entourage, CSI, and Joey. Shanna also appeared in the 1999 movie Love Stinks with fellow WAG Bridgette Wilson.
She also had her very own MTV reality show with ex-husband Travis Barker, and crapped out on Dancing With the Stars, getting kicked off in the second week.
Shanna Moakler was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in December 2001.

Shannon Schambeau is John Patterson’s wife. Shannon married John on November 10, 2007 after meeting him at a Nationals charity gala in 2005.
Shannon won the Miss District of Columbia title in 2005, beating out fellow WAG and 2007 winner Mercedes Lindsay in the process. She placed fourth runner up (why can’t they just keep it simple and say fifth place?) in the Miss America pageant that year.
As you might imagine, being Miss District of Columbia comes with some perks, including throwing out the first pitch at a Nationals game in 2006, the club that John Patterson was playing for at the time.
It should also be noted that Shannon Schambeau is a pretty smart girl. The same year she won the Miss District of Columbia pageant, she earned her Masters in Business Administration from St. Leo University.

Chelsea Cooley was Joe Mauer’s girlfriend. Cooley and Mauer dated for about six months before Mauer called it off in November of 2006.
Chelsea won the Miss USA pageant in 2005, becoming the first Miss North Carolina to win the event.
She used her status as Miss USA to raise $22.8 million for breast cancer research. Chelsea also appeared on an episode of Passions, and was a briefcase girl on a Miss USA episode of Deal or No Deal.
She was 8th runner up at the Miss Universe pageant in 2005.
Chelsea Cooley has been a big baseball fan her entire life (yes, people from North Carolina really do consider the Braves to be their hometown team), and it’s fitting that she dated Joe Mauer in 2006, the year baseball writers accidentally checked the wrong Twin on their MVP ballots.

Patricia Southall is Emmitt Smith’s wife. Patricia married Emmitt on April 22, 2000, six years before Smith made dancing seem cool (for about 6 seconds) by winning Dancing with the Stars.
Patricia earned a degree in journalism from James Madison University, and won the Miss Virginia USA pageant in 1993. She represented Virginia in the 1994 Miss USA pageant, where she placed first runner-up.
She married Martin Lawrence in January of 1995, but seeing as Martin was pretty much out of his mind at this time (he was arrested three times in a two year span and suffered a drug addiction) it was no surprise that they divorced in September 1997.

Mercedes Lindsay is Jason Campbell’s girlfriend. Lindsay has been dating Campbell since early 2007.
Mercedes Lindsay was Miss District of Columbia in 2007, after coming in 5th place in both 2005 and 2006. The title won her a spot in the 2007 Miss USA pageant.
Generally speaking, it isn’t too difficult to find some interesting tidbits on a Miss USA contestant, so it’s surprising that getting the scoop on Mercedes Lindsay has proven to be my most difficult task yet.
As it turns out, Mercedes Lindsay may have the least search engine friendly name in the history of the internet. As you may recall, a girl named Lindsay Lohan once crashed her Mercedes, and every publication in the world wrote at least 12 stories about it.

Jodi Ann Paterson is Michael Andretti’s hot wife. The beauty queen turned Playmate married the former Formula One racer on October 7, 2006 in Napa, California.
Jodi won Miss Oregon Teen USA in 1994, and posed nude for Playboy in October of 1999. She was later named Playmate of the Year, earning $100,000 and a Corvette for the title.
Jodi has also appeared in 7 Playboy special editions, most recently posing for a three page spread in Playboy’s Nude Playmates in April of 2003.

Vanessa Williams was Rick Fox’s wife from 1999-2004. Williams and Fox suffered a very public divorce after The National Enquirer published pictures that showed the NBA star kissing another woman in 2004.
This was not the first time that Vanessa’s life had been affected by the publication of compromising photographs.
She was crowned Miss American in 1984, but was forced to resign the honor later that year when it was revealed that there existed nude photographs of her posing with another woman.
The pictures were purchased and published by Penthouse, and the Vanessa Williams issue reportedly brought the company $14 million.
Vanessa went on to be a very successful pop star, and has had no trouble finding work in film and television, though she will probably always be best known for her Miss America scandal.
