Yesterday I wrote that Stacey Gardner may be the best-educated WAG in the history of WAGs. Apologies to Stacey for my hasty declaration, but it appears she’ll have to share the crown.

Like Stacey, Laura Posada is a lawyer.

Laura earned her Law Degree from Loyola University, and did modeling work to pay the bills. As a lawyer, she mostly practiced bankruptcy cases before focusing her efforts on The Jorge Posada Foundation, which works to help families with kids who have Craniosynostosis.

As you probably guessed by now, Laura is Jorge Posada’s wife. She married the Yankees catcher in 1999.

Stacey Gardner

Stacey Gardner is Mardy Fish’s girlfriend. Mardy and Stacey have been engaged since November of 2007.

Stacey may very well be the best-educated WAG in the history of WAGs. She picked up her law degree and passed the Bar Exam in 2005.

If she looks familiar to you, there are two possible explanations:

1. She’s defended your innocence after you committed some heinous crime
2. You’ve seen her exceptional talent as a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal, where she puts her extended schooling to good use
