Abigail Clancy

Abigail Clancy was once a member of the craptastic girl band Genie Queen, but they broke up because a) they were terrible b)nobody came to see them and c)they couldn’t get a record deal.

It wasn’t until years later that Abigail burst into the British limelight with her runner up performance on Britain’s Next Top Model in 2006. Her newfound fame earned her modeling gigs with Maxim, Nuts, OK! and GQ.

After Britain’s Next Top Model aired, Abigail started dating Peter Crouch. She earned official WAG status when she showed up with him to the 2006 World Cup.

Their initial romance was short lived. Crouch broke up with Abigail Clancy after tabloids published photographs of her snorting cocaine. There were also reports that she was cheating on Crouch with an ex-boyfriend.

There are many ways to break up with a girl, and the importance of the choice can’t be overstated. Try to be too nice, and you’ll probably end up back with her again. Go too hard on her, and you might send her straight to the loony bin. How did Peter Crouch break up with Abigail Clancy, you ask? By having his lawyer fax over a memo saying they were no longer seeing each other, and prohibiting Abigail from continuing to say they were together.

It’s hard to think of a more definitive way to end a relationship, but I guess a lawyer’s fax wasn’t hard enough on Abigail Clancy, as Crouch got back together with her again a few months later.

Giorgia Palmas

Giorgia Palmas is Davide Bombardini’s girlfriend. She’s been dating the Bologna F.C. midfielder since 2005.

Giorgia rose to fame in 2000, when, at the age of eighteen, she was crowned Miss Italy. She represented her country at the Miss World competition that year, and was the heavy favorite going into the competition. However, she came in second to Miss India, Priyanka Chopra.

The next year she was picked up a recurring role on the popular Italian variety show Buona Domenica, and in 2002 she became one of two showgirls on Striscia la notizia.

Striscia la notizia sounds like it’s part Weekend Update,part Daily Show, part The Man Show and part 20/20. Giorgia’s job on the show was to dance around and be hot. Word has it that she was very successful in this capacity.

Giorgia posed nude for Max Magazine in 2005, and the spread was such a success that the magazine asked her back the following year to pose for her own topless calendar. She accepted.

Giorgia is now the spokesmodel of Cotton Club underwear.

Rosaria Cannavo

Rosaria Cannavo is famous in Italy for her skills as a ballerina & her appearances on a number of their very strange television shows.

On Buona Domenica (Good Sunday), Rosaria plays a game called “Surf.”

The rules of the game are simple.

You’ve probably seen an mechanical bull at some point in your life—maybe at the fair or a cowboy themed bar somewhere. You may have even drank enough beer that you paid real money to make a fool of yourself on said bull.

Anyway, “Surf” is like the mechanical bull, only instead of sitting on a bull the contestants have to balance on a moving surfboard—while wearing a very skimpy top & a very short skirt. Contestants are awarded points depending on how long they stay on the board, and the girl with the most points wins.

Rosaria Cannavo is a “Surf” champion. She’s also Christian Panucci’s girlfriend.

The Roma back was scheduled to travel on the fatal TWA 800 flight in 1996, but switched his plans at the last minute. 

Yesica Toscanini

Yesica Toscanini is an Argentinian model best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2006 and 2007. She was the fourth Argentinian to appear in the issue.

She also played Enrique Iglesias’s sweetheart in his video for “Do You Know?”.

Yesica Toscanini sent the Argentinian tabloids into a frenzy in February of 2008 when it turned out that she was Juan Roman Riquelme’s girlfriend.

Why would that be such a big deal? Because the Boca Juniors midfielder had a wife and three kids is why.

Juan Riquelme first met Yesica while he was preparing for the 2006 World Cup, and kept the relationship hidden from his wife for as long as he could. 

When Mrs. Riquelme found out about the affair this year, she was so upset that she threatened to destroy their house. She evidently thought better of it, probably realizing that the house would be hers should she divorce the soccer star.

There have been reports that the Riquelme separation is underway.

Gemma Atkinson

Gemma Atkinson is a British actress best known for her work in the soap opera Hollyoaks.

Gemma recently made headlines when she adopted an abused chimpanzee (I’m not making this up).

The chimpanzee’s name is Bryan, and Gemma decided to adopt the monkey after learning that he had been abused by his Mexican owners.

Apparently, Monkey World is the place to contact when you’re in the mood to adopt a poo-flinging primate with emotional baggage (be sure to bookmark that one).

Gemma is currently dating Wigan striker Marcus Bent.
