You already know who Kristi Yamaguchi is, and that’s okay. It’s not like you watch figure skating for the choreography or the music, right? No, you watch it for the flesh colored costumes that look scandalous in the wide shots. You watch it in case someone’s kneecaps get busted. You watch just in case that triple axle turns into a triple omg did you see her neck snap-back when she landed on her face lol. Like I said, that’s okay. You don’t need to defend yourself.
Kristi Yamaguchi won the gold medal at the 1992 Olympics, and while there, she met NHL player Bret Hedican. Apparently she has a thing for men in skates, as she became Bret’s Hedican’s wife in 2000.
Yamaguchi doesn’t do a whole lot of professional skating these days, but you can currently catch her on Dancing with the Stars. You probably knew that already, and that’s okay. You only watch it because your wife likes it. I understand.
