Chandra Johnson is Jimmie Johnson’s wife.
Chandra was a Wilhelmina Model when she was introduced to Jimmie Johnson by fellow NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon in 2002.
Jimmie and Chandra were engaged the following year, and married on December 11, 2004.
Rick Hendrick, Jimmie’s team owner, loaned the newlyweds his 150 foot yacht for use on their honeymoon so they could cruise around St. Barts. I wish I had a boss like that. This is the only thing my boss ever lent me. And even then, he asked for it back.
Together, Jimmie and Chandra founded the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. The foundation is “dedicated to assisting children, families and communities in need throughout the United States. The foundation strives to help everyone, particularly children, pursue their dreams.”
Like seemingly every NASCAR couple, Jimmie and Chandra live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
