Aida Yespica is Matteo Ferrari’s girlfriend. She started dating the Genoa footballer after things ended badly (the only way things end) with Pippo Inzaghi.
Aida is a Venezuelan model who shot to stardom after not winning the 2002 Miss Venezuela pageant. She then moved to Italy, took off her clothes a lot, and did what all Italian models seem to do — she got herself a footballer she could call her own.
Aida’s move to Italy paid off, as she picked up regular gigs for the Italian editions of GQ and Maxim. She also snagged a role on Italy’s version of Survivor, putting her in good company with former contestant and friend of WAG Rankings, Heidi Hamels.
As with all good WAGs, Aida’s career hasn’t been scandal-free. In 2007, the former prime minister of Italy told Yespica: “With you I’d go anywhere.” Nice line, right? Too bad his wife was there, and demanded a public apology in an open letter to the paper.
